A beautifully soft leather collar, custom made for your cat’s comfort, safety and everyday wear.
Handcrafted from lightweight full-grain leather, each collar is made to your cat’s measurements for a comfortable, secure fit. Choose from a range of leather colours and gold or silver hardware, with the option to add a breakaway safety buckle, bell and personalised hand-stamped nameplate.
The slim nameplate sits neatly against the collar, giving you space for your cat’s name and contact details without a traditional dangling ID tag.

How To Measure
How To Measure
Getting the size right means a better fit and a more comfortable collar for your cat. Here's how to measure your cat’s neck so we can make their collar just right — plus tips for growing kittens.
1. Using a soft tape measure, record the circumference of your cat’s neck at the point where a collar would naturally sit. If you don’t have a tape measure, you can use a piece of string, ribbon, or strip of paper, then lay it flat against a ruler to measure the length.
2. Pull the tape or string so that it is snug but not tight - close enough that the collar will sit securely without slipping over the head, while still remaining comfortable for your cat. Record the measurement.
3. Enter this measurement in the Neck Circumference field when prompted.
Kittens - If your cat is still growing, please let us know and we will make an allowance for growth when sizing the holes for the collar.

Absolutely love this collar!! I ordered 3, for each of my cats, and they all fit perfectly. Each feel wonderful, and they're not super stiff (like some leather collars can be); the colours are beautiful and vibrant too! The option with no bell is nice and quiet, no jingles, so cats who get overstimulated by bells or clanks have no issues. Even my old calico, who usually hates collars due to that, hasn't been bothered by this one. I love the fact that, due to the safety clasp, my cats can now have cute and durable collars without me fearing for their wellbeing (as other leather cat collars only have buckles). Sadly, only my big boy would sit still to pose- but it shows that these collars fit even a Maine Coon comfortably!

Beautiful products with lovely craftsmanship, but a few improvements are needed. Unfortunately, both of our cats lost their collars within two weeks. The strap could be slightly longer, as it doesn't reach far enough into the loop to stay secure and kept slipping out. Also, the leather on the purple collar feels thinner compared to the brown one, which may affect its durability. I hope future versions address these issues, especially given the price—unfortunately, it didn’t last with us as long as expected.

The safety buckles are designed to release under pressure to keep cats safe if they get caught – which can unfortunately mean the collar is lost. I’ll be updating the product description to make this clearer for future customers. Leather is a natural material, so slight thickness variations can occur between colours, but I always select hides with comfort and durability in mind. I really value your feedback and will also be in touch via email to see if there’s something I can do to help make things right.
The collar is almost exactly as I had expected, perhaps the leather is a little thinner than hoped but as a cat collar, it is supple and smooth. It fits perfectly and stands out nicely. Not having to have a separate disc hanging down is very nice. Kinfolk Leather has been easy to deal with and the quality of their product is excellent. I will definitely buy from them again.

Love the quality! my little kitty is very prone to losing his collars with safety clips so was essential that I ordered one he couldn’t get off, so I very much appreciate the customisable option for the clasp, which has more than paid off already. Our handsome boy Lenny. We have had a few of these collars, and love them for their quality and aesthetic. The safety clasp is good piece of mind for those allowed outside, and living in an area full of birds we need the bell.
Gorgeous, soft leather collars. Got 2 of the same, one for each cat. The older one has learned to take hers off rather efficiently as I measured it a bit too loosely, it needs another hole which I will organise in due time . The younger cat wears hers like a champ and looks like a very respectable young lady indeed
