Our BioThane® Long Line Dog Training Lead is built for durability and ease of use, featuring a long, flat design perfect for training sessions. Whether you're working on recall or giving your dog more freedom while still maintaining control, this lead is an excellent choice.
Durable Materials: Handmade from BioThane® strapping, a waterproof and durable alternative to leather, this lead is easy to clean—an essential feature for a lead that will often be dragged on the ground. Rust-proof brass hardware ensures long-lasting performance.
Flexible Use: Equipped with a brass trigger clip, loop handle, and an O-ring, this lead is designed for versatility. It also includes a removable loop for easy and neat hanging when not in use. Customisable to your desired length, it can be tailored to suit your specific training needs.
Hand-stamped Nameplate: An optional solid brass or stainless steel nameplate can be securely attached to the lead with matching solid brass rivets. Your emergency contact details will be clearly visible, ensuring you can be contacted if misplaced.

BIOTHANE®
BioThane® is a premium brand of coated webbing, created by bonding a PVC or TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) coating to a polyester or nylon core. The result is a strong, durable, and waterproof material that’s lightweight, easy to clean, and resistant to chewing and scratching.
We only use genuine BioThane® because of its proven quality and reliability – unlike cheaper alternatives on the market, it maintains its strength, finish, and performance over time.
HARDWARE
Premium hardware, cast from solid brass, selected for maximum strength to ensure our products remain rust-free for life. All hardware is kept securely in place with strong solid brass rivets.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Our leather dog leads are custom made with quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design that prioritises your dog's comfort and safety.
Each dog lead is meticulously handmade, and our nameplates are hand-stamped. Minor tooling marks or inconsistencies in the stamping enhance the unique charm and human element of your custom dog lead.

NAMEPLATE
If you would like a nameplate added, your dog's details will be hand-stamped and clearly seen on the solid brass or stainless steel nameplate.
Nameplate Dimensions:
Small (for 1/2" wide leads) - 50 x 9.5mm - up to 2 lines of information in 2.5mm text
Large (for 3/4"+ wide leads) - 70 x 16mm - up to 3 lines of information in 3mm text.

If your dog needs to be tied up or left unattended for a while, we recommend using a heavy-duty lead made for that purpose, and saving this custom lead for walks and training. While our leads are extremely sturdy, and will withstand forceful tugging, there are determined dogs out there for which any lead is no match!

Getting the size right means a better fit and a more comfortable collar for your dog or cat. Here's how to measure your pet’s neck so we can make their collar just right — plus tips for growing puppies.
How to Measure For A Dog Collar
We strongly suggest providing an accurate measurement when placing your order. If you follow the instructions below, this will allow us to make a collar for your dog that will fit him/her well.
1. Using a soft tape measure, record the circumference of the neck at the point where a collar would naturally lie.
2. Pull the tape so that it is snug but not tight. Record the measurement.
3. Enter this measurement in the personalisation text box when prompted. This measurement will be the middle hole of the collar, we will add at least another two holes either side.
Puppies - If your dog is a puppy, please let us know and we will make an allowance for growth when sizing the holes for the collar. Please feel free to give us a range (up to 12cm, i.e. 24-36cm) so that we can make sure there are enough holes to suit your dog's growth. We can be very flexible with the number of holes provided in the collar.
