Ready when you are.
Each collar in our Ready to Wear range is handmade in our workshop from waterproof BioThane® and finished with solid brass hardware. They’re crafted in small batches and kept in stock, so you can enjoy the same Kinfolk quality with a shorter delivery time.

Choose from eight thoughtful colourways, each paired with a contrasting keeper for a gentle pop of personality:

Island Citrus
A bright mint strap with a warm mandarin keeper – fresh and summery.

Bluebird
Soft light blue with a sky-blue keeper – calm, airy, and easy-going.

Meadow
Sage green with a crisp white keeper – gentle, clean, and timeless.

Bloom
Violet with a bold hot-pink keeper – cheerful and full of character.

Pōhutukawa
Forest green with a bright red keeper – a classic nod to Aotearoa’s summer bloom.

Harvest
Olive with a rich wine keeper – earthy, warm, and understated.

Lavender Field
Soft lavender with a sage keeper – peaceful, pretty, and subtle.

Sunlit Teal
Teal with a bright yellow keeper – vibrant, lively, and full of energy.

Materials & Craftsmanship

BIOTHANE®
BioThane® is a premium brand of coated webbing, created by bonding a PVC or TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) coating to a polyester or nylon core. The result is a strong, durable, and waterproof material that’s lightweight, easy to clean, and resistant to chewing and scratching.

We only use genuine BioThane® because of its proven quality and reliability – unlike cheaper alternatives on the market, it maintains its strength, finish, and performance over time.

HARDWARE
Premium hardware, cast from solid brass, selected for maximum strength to ensure our products remain rust-free for life. All hardware is kept securely in place with strong solid brass rivets.

CRAFTSMANSHIP
Our dog collars are custom made with quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design that prioritises your dog's comfort and safety.

Care Guide

BioThane® is waterproof, wipe-clean, and perfect for dogs who swim, adventure, or explore the muddiest corners of the garden. Brass will gently develop a natural patina over time.

Is this suitable for your pet?

If your dog has a history of being extremely tough on collars, such as excessive pulling behaviour, we recommend using a specialty collar when attached to a leash or tie-out and keeping this BioThane dog collar for 'good'. While our collars are extremely sturdy, and will withstand forceful tugging, there are determined dogs out there for which any collar is no match.

Strap Replacement Service

Our products are crafted to endure and look great for years. When you're ready for a fresh look we can replace the strap and reuse the same hardware to give your custom collar or lead a new lease on life.

How To Measure

To find the right size, measure your dog’s neck with a soft tape measure so it sits comfortably where their collar normally rests. You should be able to slip two fingers between the tape and their neck. Choose the size that corresponds to that measurement. If you’re unsure, feel free to get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Customer Satisfaction Promise

We believe in our products and stand by the quality of workmanship, craftsmanship and materials in each one. See our Customer Satisfaction Promise for more information.
